Junior Walk & Run

The Junior Walk is for young persons aged between 10 and 13. It starts at 11am from Ditton Priors Village Hall and the 7-mile course takes participants to the top of Brown Clee before returning to the village.

As with the Senior Walk the primary objective is to raise money for charity.

For the first time in 2012 we are introducing a 3-kilometre (1.8 mile) Fun Run to satisfy the competitive spirit shown in previous years. This Fun Run is entirely optional but to complete the event those taking part must continue on to walk the remainder of the 7-mile course.

There are prizes available for those finishing the full 7-mile course, as follows:

Most sponsorship money raised
The first 3 boys to finish the Fun Run
The first 3 girls to finish the Fun Run
A number of fancy dress prizes
Spot prizes selected from all finishers at random by the Mayor


		Getting to the Start Buses are available for participants unable to make their own way to Ditton Priors. Buses will depart from Northgate just after the start of the senior walk at 10am, taking them from Bridgnorth to Ditton Priors. The buses will return to Bridgnorth after the event.
