Normally held on the Whitsuntide (Spring) Bank Holiday Monday (in 2012 the walk coincides with the Queen’s Jubilee bank holiday on the 4th June), the walk starts from Bridgnorth High Street and proceeds:

  • - along the Ludlow Road to the village of Cleobury North
  • - at this point the walk has two alternatives:
    1. The full walk for 14 to 39 year olds and anyone 40 and over who wishes to complete the full route continue to the summit of Brown Clee Hill (at 546m, the highest point in the West Midlands)
    2. The amended route for the age group 40+, bypass the ascent to Brown Clee.
  • - through the village of Ditton Priors
  • - returning to Bridgnorth High Street.
