Bridgnorth Lions Walk : Shropshire Sponsored Walk
Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2017
The annual Bridgnorth Walk Shropshire is a sponsored walk that is all about raising money for charity and has been held since 1967.
The Bridgnorth Walk was rebranded ‘The Bridgnorth Lions Walk’ in 2017 when Bridgnorth Lions took over as organisers. The walk regularly raises over £100k for good causes and charities. The Senior walk is just short of a marathon at 22 miles and is very hilly and so should not be taken lightly! The over 40’s have the option of a shortened amended route. A separate 7 mile Junior Walk is organised for those in school years 5 to 9. Why not get involved and help your charity or chosen good cause whilst getting fit!
For those visiting for the first time Bridgnorth is a historic market town just 10 miles from Telford and Wolverhampton. It has an abundance of shops, pubs, places to eat and things to see, it was also the winner of the GREAT BRITISH HIGH STREET 2016. The BRIDGNORTH BEER FESTIVAL is also taking place from 27th to 29th May 2017 at pubs throughout the town.
Kovotography presents 5 years of the Bridgnorth Walk photography, with a special walkers discount at Kovotography Event.
